Crossing Currents Exhibition

‘Crossing Currents’ is a collaborative exhibition by Future Cultures, the Melbourne-based artist collective formed by Katira, COL and Lucy Lucy, FR. The immersive exhibition brings together large-scale paintings, installations, motion graphics, and live performances to extend their ongoing cross-cultural dialogue.

Intersections is a new mural created by artist Katira in St Albans, Melbourne. The mural embodies Katira’s recognised style and reflects her constant quest to creatively explore at the intersection of urban and natural environments, modernity and tradition, and inner and outer spiritual realms.

In their latest mural collaboration, Katira and Lucy Lucy depict the way beauty emerges when women dance in sync together through life chaos to the rhythms of the many moons, flowing as one, creating a space for sisterhood.
